Conveniently located on Wapato Point, Lake Chelan’s premier waterfront resort, our townhome features 3 full bedrooms and additional sleeping options and space for air mattresses. We offer many beds and 2 bathrooms, and our unit very comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. Ask us about our awesome sleeping arrangements if you need clarification, or if you have a mixed party with couples. Our resort offers indoor and outdoor pools, free docks and buoys for your boats and jet skis, tennis courts, mini golf, a stocked trout pond and much more.
Staying at our Hyacinth Hideaway means that you have the best Walkability in Chelan. You'll be steps away from everything you want. Walk a block to the Red Apple grocery store, or a mere 900 feet to the resort’s private sandy beach and boat docks. Fine dining and wine tasting is only steps away across the road at Wapato Point Cellars. You can dock your boat or jetski for free at the resort’s private boat docks or buoys. Grab a bite at the snack snack on the beach, or rent a kayak or paddle board. Boat and jet ski rentals are also available at Wapato's beach!
Enjoy the 8 tennis courts that the resort offers. Try out the Mini Golf course with the kids. Our townhome stocks its own mini gold putters and balls for you to enjoy.
Our townhome features a large gas grill BBQ, laundry room with washer and dryer, and 4 TV Smart TVs. Each TV features Netflix and is connected to our private high speed internet. You can eat on the covered outdoor patio, or inside in the dining room. Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you'll want (way more than a basic rental pool unit) including a stainless steel fridge with ice maker, and of course a dishwasher and garbage disposal.
There is also an indoor dining room table that seats 6. The living room has a giant 70” flat screen Smart TV with Netflix and DVD player. Enjoy the clean, electric fireplace too, with no messy wood or ashes. Plush oversized couches offer the best comfort you’ll find.
We have plenty of beds for everyone! We have 3 bedrooms and a bonus bunk room. Due to red tape and rules, our HOA will not let us advertise the "Bonus Room" as a bed room. So... that is not a bedroom. It is a "bonus room".
Upstairs features a master bedroom with a King Size bed. Downstairs bedroom #1 features a queen bed, and sleeper sofa. Downstairs bedroom #2 features a queen bed and a bunk bed. And don’t forget the extra cool "reading room" room with built in seating.
We pride ourselves on our high speed WiFi, which is an added bonus of the Hyacinth Hideaway. While many units offer the spotty resort-standard grade WiFI, our townhome has a private high speed connection. While you may not be coming here to work, it’s great for streaming Netflix and using the Smart TVs.
All new mattresses and sheets. We take great pride in maintaining the freshest, most modern unit in our Halmalka Highlands association. While some units may feel outdated, our home is fresh, modern and cheery. We do our best to stock it with everything our guests need, not the bare bones rental treatment you have have experienced.
Winter time visitors? There are a ton of things to enjoy. It’s just a few minutes down the road to Echo Valley Ski Area, where you can cross country ski on groomed trails, or take the family to the tow rope area and do some serious tubing or learn to ski.
Are you a fisherman? Lake Chelan offers some of the best fishing in the state. You can bring your boat, charter a tour, or simple rent a boat. The lake offers salmon, bass, trout, kokanee, and more!
If you are interested in boat sports and being on the water, you have come to the right destination. Bring the family boat and take everybody waterskiing and tubing, or simply just rent one at the beach at Wapato. Walk down to the kiosk and rent a jet ski or speedboat and enjoy all the lake has to offer. There are many fuel stations on the lake where you can pull right up and fill your boat.
If you’re feeling like a serious adventure, take a trip up to Stehekin by ferry or seaplane (the only ways you can get there!). You’ll find beautiful scenic hikes, pristine scenery, and a lovely local bakery with some of the most delicious food and baked goods on the planet.
Hyacinth Hideaway has the best location, convenience, and amenities of any Lake Chelan vacation rental, and Wapato Point is simply the best place to vacation in the Chelan area.

We do Friday to Friday weeks in the summer peak season. We apologize, but we can only do 7 night stays during this time due to high demand.

-The "Bonus Room"– (our HOA will not allow us to advertise this as a bedroom). But it is a totally awesome room with built in bunk-style seating for relaxing. Smart TV connected to Wifi. All of our guests love this room. Make sure to see the pictures. It is "right out of a magazine".
